Lagoon framework documentation
Lagoon is DESIRADE's application framework for building Blazor WebAssembly applications on .NET 8 and .NET 10: a library of Lg* components, a server foundation (authentication, exports, notifications, traceability), and the accompanying build tooling.
Getting started
- Framework overview — what Lagoon brings compared to a bare Blazor project, and the modules that compose it.
- Create your first project — from solution creation to first launch.
- Solution architecture — layer organization and the role of each project.
Browsing the documentation
The left menu provides the complete directory structure. The most common entry points:
- UI components — forms and validation, data grids, buttons and actions, page layout, menus.
- Configuration — application configuration,
appsettings.jsonfiles, client layout, logging. - Installation & deployment — prerequisites, then the page corresponding to your target (IIS, Apache, Docker, Azure, reverse-proxy).
- For developers — page lifecycle, exception handling, RGAA accessibility.
- API reference — sheets generated from source code, listing direct, cascading, and inherited parameters for each component
(example:
LgGridView).
Following releases
The changelog lists the new features and breaking changes of version 4.x; the version history of 3.x is archived on a dedicated page.
Component pages expose an exhaustive table of [Parameter] properties, inherited ones included, with their type and default value. Components located in an Internal folder of the framework are public but reserved for internal use: they are not documented. Code examples are written to be compilable and follow the framework's conventions (components prefixed with Lg, icons via IconNames.All.*, labels translated via the # prefix).
